Vintage Props and Jets joins Sabre Airline reservation system

Vintage Props and Jets Inc., a New Smyrna Beach airline company, recently joined the Sabre Airline Reservation System. Sabre is the leading worldwide network used by travel agents and web-based travel reservation systems.

"Our company is extremely pleased with the immediate customer response, a result of our recent association with Sabre," commented Tom Crevass, president of Vintage. "Prior to joining the Sabre reservation system, Vintage relied primarily on individual phone reservations by passengers."

Since 1999, Vintage has provided scheduled commuter and charter service from Daytona Beach International Airport to Freeport, Marsh Harbor and Treasure Cay in the Bahamas and Melbourne, Key West and Orlando, Florida. The growing airline company transported 9,729 passengers during 2001, a 19 percent increase over 2000.

Sabre distributes reservation services in 45 countries to 59,000 travel agents, 450 airlines, 54 car rental agencies, eight cruise lines and 228 tour operators. Through Sabre resources, reservations on Vintage can now be booked throughout the travel agent network and web sites such as Travelocity, Orbitz and Worldspan.
